Scotch® Tape 130C is a 0.75 mm (30 mil) thick, high-quality rubber splicing tape without a sheath used for joining and terminating cables and wires. It can withstand temperatures up to 90 °C (194 °F) with an emergency overload of up to 130 °C (266 °F). The tape has excellent electrical and mechanical properties and offers protection against moisture.
Scotch® Tape 130C is a highly deformable tape that provides electrical and mechanical protection thanks to the combination of a powerful rubber resin adhesive and a self-fusing ethylene-propylene backing. The tape provides primary insulation for solid, dielectrically insulated cables with voltages up to 69 kV. This tape is designed for low and high voltage, busbar insulation, cable end sealing and sheath repairs. It has excellent mechanical and electrical properties providing moisture sealing a cavity-free build-up. ASTM approval and complies with RoHS 2011/65/EU.
